For 9 to 15 year olds, design and build robots to score points for your Team.  2-3 students on a team in the league VEX IQ Robotics Competition (VIQRC).  Each Team will score by driving your robot with a remote and by programming code for your robot to score autonomously.  Weekly practices @ ckingknowledge Institute on your choice of Tues or Wed or Thur 3:30-5:15pm with tournaments on Saturdays @ various locations around Metro Detroit.

For 9 to 15 years old, build robots and learn to code them.  The robots are also driven by a video game controller; which the students can code, too. No prior experience required.  Students will use the engineering process while learning mechanics, materials, software, and hardware.  This class is taught by an Engineering Teacher provided by ckingknowledge Institute.  12 students maximum per class.  Bring your own computer so you can keep your code on it.  Enroll at Southfield Parks & Recreation website.

For 9 to 15 years old, if you already completed the prerequisite by participating in the Robots & Coding 1, in Robots & Coding 2 you will continue to build on top of the BaseBot.  This time you will add a robot arm and claw, then write software code to accomplish a variety of missions.  Your skills will go to the next level by using the engineering process and practicing working as a team.  You will also learn physics while working to make a robot which can fetch you items.  Enroll at Southfield Parks & Recreation website.
